Services

The ad astra vita project is philanthropic and not-for-profit in nature, and even though we are a small enterprise at present, we have a large vision and big goals we aim to work towards. As part of this, we have the aim of attracting sponsorship and raising funds so that we are able to offer space sector STEAM capacity-building opportunities such as student conference scholarships and internships. As one potential revenue raising stream, the project is able to offer consultancy and facilitation services with coverage of space medicine, space health and other space life sciences, including:

  • Informal and formal education sessions to suit your needs;
  • Small group facilitation;
  • Public speaking and outreach;
  • Policy and guideline development;
  • Research, writing and editing;
  • Project design and management;
  • Human resourcing utilising members of the Team;
  • Mentoring for students and young professionals; and
  • Other services by negotiation.

Our current philanthropic activities

As part of our altruistic endeavours, in addition to maintaining and expanding the ad astra vita project website on a voluntary basis, we are also currently engaging in a wide range of other voluntary activities, including:

  • Education and outreach presentations;
  • YouTube channel and playlists;
  • Conference presentations (individual and collaborative);
  • Space-related conference and event coordination;
  • Research collaborations;
  • Mentoring of students and young professionals (both formal and informal);
  • Academic articles, review, and editing;
  • Conference abstract review;
  • Voluntary service with aerospace/space medicine and surgery organisations; and
  • Voluntary service with other community or special interest groups.

“The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.”
